About the role

  • Reporting to the cybersecurity manager, you'll be putting your talents to work on the development of one of the key products.
  • Researching, consulting, analysing and evaluating system program needs
  • Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods
  • Writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications
  • Mentor junior team members

A full time, permanent position based in Hamilton, an area rapidly becoming one of the major tech hubs of New Zealand! Being just outside Auckland, Hamilton enjoys the low house prices while still having a relatively short commute to Auckland and Tauranga.

The person

  • 3+ years of development experience
  • Best practice clean code, with a security lens on everything you do
  • Experience in C++ development - Visual C++ and/or GNU GCC with the Boost library and Google test
  • A good understanding of Windows and Linux security

Handy to have

Experience with docker and docker-compose
CI/CD - ideally experience with Gitlab
