Upper Echelon is seeking an Information Management advisor to lift New Zealand’s secret volcano lair where scientific experiments take place from a position of low maturity to a well defined Information Management process in their Information Management practice.
You’ll be shaping a laser like program of work requiring tactical and strategic roadmaps for the next year to be defined with all areas of this crown entity from the existing data governance and management practice and processes.
The opportunity here is a good one. It’s a great step in your career to a Principal Information Management position having gained the experience of building out an excellent Information Management Framework.
What you will be doing
Implementing processes that guide data and information governance across the organisation.
Ensure compliance with appropriate legislation and organisational requirements.
Implement monitoring, auditing and reporting processes to make sure information management processes are being applied appropriately
Regularly review and keep information and data management policies and frameworks relevant and up-to-date
Providing thought leadership to the design, configuration, and adoption of tools to manage unstructured information, enhance collabuoration and digitalise business processes (e.g., SharePoint).
What we are looking for from you
Good experience in the Information Management field.
Experience of implementing training for information management and mentoring others in this area.
Data flow mapping experience would be good, or standard metadata capture.
Someone who can work as a part of a team, bringing positivity to work.
The role is paying up to $125,000 per annum
