Upper Echelon has an opportunity for an exceptional individual to join a dynamic New Zealand startup poised to revolutionise road infrastructure management worldwide. This innovative company has developed groundbreaking technology that rapidly detects subsurface moisture in road pavements, providing crucial insights through an integrated trailer sensing system and cloud-based software.

Be a part of something special with an opportunity to be the technology leader that drives forward a game-changing product, taking the pilot prototype to a repeatable product model, and building the technology team that takes this global.

You’ll be a technologist with a solid background in electrical engineering or mechatronics and a deep understanding of embedded technology. Take ownership of the development of the technology, driving technological innovation and strategising technical direction. You have the prowess to lead and inspire, and to build and lead technology teams. Your hands-on approach, integrity, and strategic mindset will propel the company’s mission to optimise road infrastructure management on a global scale.

While this role will be remote initially (within New Zealand), potentially becoming hybrid as the company grows.
