About the Role
Upper Echelon are seeking an Enterprise Architect with a passion for whatthey do to join our clients Tech Services team in Auckland or Wellington, with WFH flexibility.
Good enterprise architects are customer-centric, and excel at finding value for their organisation and customers. They communicate well with both business and tech professionals, they are not architecture model freaks. They'll know measurement techniques inside and out, meet their organisation’s objectives, and can happily roll up their sleeves by getting involved with the delivery of roadmaps.

If you are successful in this role, you will be:
- Taking ownership of architecture models and their development and governance across all architecture disciplines
- Be at the apex of influence for IT strategy, operating models, planning and roadmaps for our clients
- Define Architecture in line with modern engineering practices
- Articulate Enterprise Architecture to internal and external stakeholders
- Seek and test new technologies and approaches
- Drive the Architecture and Design workshops with stakeholders.
About You
A key to success will be your comfort in complex and diverse environments with multiple stakeholders. With a proven ability to balance the priorities of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Architecture experience in large and/or complex environments.
- Experience with cloud-based architectures AWS/Azure.
- Cloud security and/or integration experience will be a definite advantage.
- Understand the difference between Enterprise, Platform and Solution Architectures
- Have experience with Architecture frameworks, methodology, modelling, and end-to-end solution design.
- Excellent communication, and leadership skills,
- Clear presentation, and documentation.
