Step up to a role in a new team where you will be the face of the Information Management team.
Working for one of the largest health organisations in the country we are looking for someone that will communicate requirements and implement information management policies according to the Public Records Act 2005 and the guidance of Archives New Zealand.
You’ll be working with a newly appointed manager who is very well regarded, and that person reports directly to the CIO. So there aren’t many layers to the top table. There are several Sharepoint administrators to do the technical work of storing and collecting the Information.
This is a great project to get involved with as it is early on, of low maturity and you can really make an impact here.
What we are looking for
The role
The Advisor Information Management will inform appropriate methods to evaluate and assess information and data management requirements.
You will develop policies, standards, guidelines, and practical guidance relating to information and data management.
You will seek to establish and maintain an approved business glossary and lexicon for key organisational terms and consistent methods for defining data subjects.
You will look to enable consistency and clarity across the organisation and its systems, supporting integration of data sources, and supporting the classification and management of organisational data.
You will maintain a detailed knowledge of the organisation’s requirements for data and information handling.
Renumeration
This role will pay up to $120,000 per annum. We have some negotiation around this depending on your skills and experience so if this is something you are keen on don’t hesitate to apply.

- Someone based in the Wellington Region (including Kapiti and or Wairarapa).
- Someone with knowledge of the Public Records Act 2005
- Some Information Management experience.
