The role

We're growing rapidly and embracing technology to achieve our connectivity business goals. This large programme of work currently needs an experienced Java/Mulesoft developer, with the ability to ensure the integration platform effectively and efficiently supports our applications and processes as the business grows. Ideally you will be a self-starter, taking action, and executing the full SDLC. The internal team around you will be open and available to assist you by imparting demand knowledge for you to craft highly-efficient, integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building platforms using APIs, real-time data flows, process orchestration and micro-services
• Working with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and ensure the integration platforms support these
• Assisting with proactive communication of technology strategy and roadmap to stakeholders
• Implementing DevOps principles to automate and control platforms

Qualifications and experience

• 3+ years of proven commercial development experience using the Mulesoft Anypoint platform
• Experience implementing SOAP/REST web services
• Proficiency with Java development
• Experience integrating with AWS services
• Experience of designing, building, refactoring or operating large-scale and impactful IT systems in the cloud
• Ability to create/manage basic CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Financial services experience would be a plus
