The Role 

Good pen testers mimic the methods used by sophisticated attackers to identify vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. That is best achieved by using specialised, manual testing; not just by running automated tools. No two pen testing engagements are ever the same; even the same vulnerability can vary wildly in different environments, and having a proprietary set of tools evidences a pen tester’s ability to venture off-script and improvise when necessary. You’ll do much more than just penetration testing, with an opportunity to engage with and work with some of the best.

 Plan, manage and deliver a range of technical security testing engagements across a variety of public and private sector clients.

• Provide technically sound advice to clients in line with their needs and requirements.
• Be accountable, with excellent project management skills, promoting both team and individual success.
• Document well-presented reports and other deliverables in a clear and concise way.
• Coach, mentor and support other team members.

The Person

You are a leader, curious, smart, techy, creative, incisive, passionate, a great communicator, excellent attention to detail, and have good social engineering skills. 

• 5 years’ relevant IT security consulting/advisory experience.
• A full suite  of technical security testing skills, in such areas as web app and infrastructure penetration testing, code review, red/blue team testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Professional qualifications e.g. OSCP, OSCE, CREST Registered Penetration Tester preferred.
• A good track record delivering penetration tests and other technical security testing.
